The J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation recently announced a pilot project to use Khan Academy in classrooms across Idaho. This is exciting news following the Khan Academy in Idaho teacher workshop, where many educators voiced the concern that they needed more access to technology. The pilot project will not only equip selected teachers with technology in their classrooms, the pilot will also provide teachers with ongoing support and community in the ‘13-’14 school year.
This pilot project is part of the Albertson Foundation’s bigger mission to create limitless learning opportunities to all Idahoans. To learn more about the Albertson Foundation, check out the video below.
